Senior Adult (Age 50+) Computer Skills Training Classes

The BTC Center, Inc. is offering free basic computer skills training to community residents. Classes are geared to individuals with limited or no background in using computers. You will learn about operating a computer, using the internet, and accessing on-line platforms such as Zoom. Additionally, the classes include how to use computer applications such as Microsoft Word.

Planted in Homewood

The BTC Center Planted in Homewood (PIH) Garden is located at the corner of Race Street and Sterrett Street, adjacent to Baptist Temple Church. The PIH Garden will serve the community by providing fresh herbs and vegetables, cooking and healthy eating classes, community activities, and more. Food Pantry

The Food Pantry, a key program of BTC Center, works to reduce hunger and address the nutritional and other needs of community residents who live in the Homewood area, as well as other communities – no one is turned away.  BTC Center’s Food Pantry distributes food, supplies and PPE (masks) on the fourth Saturday of each month to individuals and families.
